Benefits is a sub division of Fiscal Services.  Employee Benefits are offered to employees that are at half time to full time.  Davis Joint Unified School District offers Health, Vision, and Dental Benefits.  

Davis Joint Unified School District, like many districts in California, has a cap on the amount we contribute to each class of employee.  Below is what we offer:

Certificated
(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Vision, Dental, and EAP plans are mandatory for all Certificated employees over half time.  

EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $172.00 per month
Health - Employee only - $491.67
Health - Employee +1 - $816.67
Health - Family - $991.67


Classified
(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Vision, Dental, and EAP plans are mandatory for all Classified employees over half time.  

EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $153 per month

Health - any plan - $612.00 per month


Management & Confidential

(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Dental and EAP plans are mandatory for all Management & Confidential employees over half time.  

EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $192.00 per month
Health - Employee only - $491.67
Health - Employee +1 - $816.67
Health - Family - $991.67

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Davis Joint Unified School District Employees have EAP services available for confidential help with personal, family or job related problems.  The cost for EAP is $4.95 across all work classification of employees over 50% full time equivalency.
