For DJUSD employees enrolled in the optional 403(b) or 457(B) plans, a letter from our Third Party Administrator (TPA) Envoy Plan Services is attached here for your information.

Benefits

Open Enrollment 2020-21

Open Enrollment is a time to be able to change your Vision, Dental and/or Health Plans. Changes to plans are not available outside of the open enrollment period, unless you have a life changing event. Examples of life changing events include birth of child, divorce, marriage, or adoption. These changes are effective 01/01/2020. Please see rates below within "Health Enrollment Forms and Rates" below.

Important information to know:

If you make no changes during Open Enrollment, you will still see changes on your paycheck.  New rate plans are effective January 1, and almost all premiums will change, increasing or decreasing.  School year (10-month) employees will see the rate change in the September end of month paycheck (on September 28). This is when the rates are blended, or averaged, over the school year.  All other (11 and 12- month) employees will see the health care deduction adjusted on the December end of month paycheck. Employer Contributions

Davis Joint Unified School District, like many districts in California, has a cap on the amount we contribute to each class of employee. Below is what we offer:


Certificated
(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Vision, Dental, and EAP plans are mandatory for all Certificated employees over half time.  

EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $172.00 per month
Health - Employee only - $520.42
Health - Employee +1 - $845.42
Health - Family - $1020.42

*If you have Health you do not receive the $172 a month the Health Contribution is in lieu of the $172 amount.
Classified & Confidential

(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Vision, Dental, and EAP plans are mandatory for all Classified employees over half time.  


EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $153 per month
Health - any plan - $612.00 per month

*If you have Health you do not receive the $153 a month the Health Contribution is in lieu of the $153 amount.

Management (Cabinet)
(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Dental and EAP plans are mandatory for all Management & Confidential employees over half time.  Vision is optional.

EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $192.00 per month
Health - Employee only - $520.42
Health - Employee +1 - $845.42
Health - Family - $1020.42

*If you have Health you do not receive the $192 a month the Health Contribution is in lieu of the $192 amount.
Administrative Leadership Team (ALT)

(based on full time, prorated to FTE) - Dental and EAP plans are mandatory for all ALT employees over half time.  Vision is optional.

EAP, Vision & Dental Only - $192.00 per month
Health - Employee only - $506.67
Health - Employee +1 - $831.67
Health - Family - $1006.67

*If you have Health you do not receive the $192 a month the Health Contribution is in lieu of the $192 amount.

Sign up now!

Enrollment forms can now be completed electronically for expedited processing. Once forms are submitted and processed the employee will receive a read-only copy of form(s) submitted as  confirmation of enrollment.

For any employee that is eligible for benefits, and opts to waive coverage- a Health Waiver Form must be completed.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Davis Joint Unified School District Employees have EAP services available for confidential help with personal, family or job related problems.  The cost for EAP is $7.00 across all work classification of employees over 50% full time equivalency.
