Facilities Use

 

DJUSD welcomes community members, groups and organizations to use our facilities for athletic events, fundraisers, neighborhood meetings and more. 
 
The district's facilities department is excited to now offer the user-friendly Civic Permits program for easy online reservations.


How to Apply:
(Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to use)

  1. Visit our Civic Permits website
  2. Take a few minutes to create an account or sign in
  3. Easily locate a school site and the facility you would like to reserve for your group
  4. Make a reservation request and staff will review and respond to your request

Insurance Requirements
Insurance is required for all school facility use.  A Certificate of Insurance naming Davis Joint Unified School District as the certificate holder and an Additional Insured Endorsement Page naming Davis Joint Unified School District as the additionally insured will be required before confirmation of your rental. For specific coverages and requirements, please contact the Facilities Department at (530) 759-2182.  The district does not provide insurance but can help provide information on how to obtain it.

Payment
Davis Joint Unified School District maintains reasonable fees for facility use and processing. Payment is required prior to use. Please make check or money orders out to DJUSD and mail or walk-in deliver to:

A non-refundable application fee must accompany the application from all community groups.  It is our policy not to hold or reserve facilities until both the application and accompanying fee have been received.

  • Once an application is received facility use staff will check the availability of the facilities. 
  • Upon verification of availability and receipt of verification of insurance an estimate of fees will be assessed and a permit issued. 
  • On occasion a facility may become unavailable after the issuance of a permit due to unforeseen reasons. 
  • The district strives to provide two weeks notice in the event an issued permit needs to be cancelled due to site needs. 
  • All estimated fees are collected from the user prior to facility use.
