Student Scores

Each year, all DJUSD students in grades 3-8 and 11 participate in the California Assessments of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP).  In the Spring, students in grades 5, 8, 11, and 12 also took the California Science Test (CAST). Students for whom English is their second language also participated in the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC).

The California Department of Education is using a digital reporting system that feeds directly into our secure DJUSD Student Information System, which will allow parents to access score reports from this year and previous years.

Student Score Reports for English Language Arts, Mathematics, and the ELPAC are currently available to view in the DJUSD Parent Portal (this is the same platform families will use for Online Re-enrollment).  Scores for the CAST are released later in the year.

Viewing Your Student’s Score

  1. Log into the DJUSD Secure Parent Portal at https://parentportal.djusd.net/.
  2. Select your student.
  3. Click on Testing
  4. Scroll down to the "California Electronic Score Reports" tab.

Included in the score report is an overall score, a breakdown of performance by skill area, and a score report history.  At the bottom of the report are links to additional parent resources to help understand student scores.
