Davis Senior High School Tennis Court Plan

The construction of the new STEM Building had a significant impact to the high school and community tennis players, and mitigation for these impacts are now complete. DJUSD hired a design team to plan and prepare cost estimates for the construction of three new tennis courts to the north of the existing row of five courts. These estimates also included the repair and resurfacing of nine existing courts, and a shift of the existing soccer field and lights to the north, in an effort to accommodate the three new courts. Four courts are currently being used for the staging and laydown area for construction of the new STEM building. Upon the completion of the STEM building, the Davis High School will acquire all twelve courts, once again, and there will be no net loss of courts.
