Universal Breakfast

plate of foodThis year, DJUSD will be participating in the Universal Breakfast Program at three of our schools. The Universal Breakfast Program is a bill that was signed by Governor Jerry Brown in September 2018, to take effect during the 2019-20 school year, that allows school food programs to provide free breakfast to all students at participating schools. More information about the Universal Program bill can be found on the CDE website

At Montgomery Elementary, Harper Junior High, and Davis Senior High, all students, regardless of ability to pay, can receive a free breakfast every day of the school year through this new program. We look forward to monitoring participation and exploring whether we can bring this to all our schools in the future. Please contact the Student Nutrition Office if you have questions.

School breakfast menus can be found on the menus website
