October 2 - Return to Campus Begins with Phase 2: New Message from Superintendent Bowes
Posted on 10/02/2020
Superintendent BowesThis week, Yolo County COVID-19 rates placed the County in second tier (also known as the Substantial or Red Tier) in the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy. As a result, the County has eased restrictions for some local businesses. DJUSD is carefully watching to see if our County remains in the Red Tier for the required period of 14 consecutive days, which would then permit schools to begin a return to in-person learning, with restrictions to protect the health and safety of students and staff.

As local community COVID-19 spread continues to drop, DJUSD is entering Phase 2 of our Return to Campus Plan by beginning to implement health and staffing plans to safely bring students with the most urgent needs to campus first. To learn more about DJUSD’s Return to Campus Plan and decision-making process, please read Superintendent Bowes’ new message.
